Time for an adventure with Captain Toad and Toadette!

Captain Toad and Toadette’s search for treasure leads them to a Power Star! But just as they’re celebrating their success, a huge bird known as Wingo swoops in and steals the Power Star right in front of them, taking Toadette along for the ride!

Captain Toad immediately sets out to rescue his fellow explorer – but can he really do it by himself...? There may be scary times and tough challenges ahead, but he’s just going to have to be brave.

Take a look around

Help Captain Toad overcome all sorts of challenges; from tricky traps that need to be avoided, to enemies that can be repelled with a well-thrown turnip or two. His heavy backpack prevents him from jumping, so you’ll have to spin the level around to solve each stage’s puzzles and find a path to the Power Star.

Your adventure will take you to all sorts of places – from old ruins and volcanoes to haunted mansions, sunny beaches and more! As you progress, you’ll be able to visit familiar locations from Super Mario Odyssey levels to explore – like New Donk City!

Track treasure together!

Two heads are better than one, and an extra set of hands can go a long way too! Share a Joy-Con controller with a friend to play through courses in two-player mode. A second player can explore and solves puzzle directly alongside Captain Toad, or assist from afar by using an on-screen pointer to shoot turnips and stop foes in their tracks.
