Return to the tropical paradise that Donkey Kong calls home. Freely explore the island, reunite with familiar faces, and exchange your Banandium Chips for statues modelled after characters from the Donkey Kong series.

If you haven’t completed the main adventure, you can access DK Island by talking to Squawks on the Racing Layer.

If you have completed the main adventure, you can access DK Island using a Warp Gong after speaking to any of the Elders about “Bananza Rehearsal”.

New Mode: Emerald Rush

Void Company has set up a new business venture – and they’re hiring! Explore and destroy against the clock to gather as much emerald ore as you can to meet VoidCo’s quota.

By unearthing fossils while on the job, you’ll gain stackable Perks to help you smash your targets, and nabbing Banandium Gems will power up DK with randomised skills.

Your Perks and skills will reset at the end of each run, but you’ll earn rewards based on your performance, including new fashions, discs, and even more layers to continue your emerald-hunting hijinks.

Emerald Rush mode is accessible by talking to Void Kong on DK Island after completing the main adventure and speaking to any of the Elders about “Bananza Rehearsal”.
