Nintendo Switch Online

You can enjoy a free 7-day trial of the Nintendo Switch Online paid membership service. Visit Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch console and select the Nintendo Switch Online option on the left navigation to activate your free trial. 

Please note: one free trial period available per Nintendo Account. During the free trial, you can use the online play, voice chat via the smartphone app, Save Data Cloud, Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online and Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online services. It’s not possible to purchase classic controllers during the trial period.

If automatic renewal is set, once your free 7-day trial is over, your membership will be renewed via the automatic purchase of an individual 1-month (30 day) membership. If you do not wish to purchase a membership, you can terminate automatic renewal during the free trial and will not be charged.

Memberships

If you create a Family Group, up to eight Nintendo Accounts can use the Nintendo Switch Online membership service under one Family Membership!

Already have an Individual Membership but want a Family Membership instead? Starting from October 1st 2019, the remaining days of your Individual Membership will count towards a discount* when you purchase a Family Membership**.

*Users on a 7-day free trial membership will not be eligible for a discount.

**This discount cannot be applied to a Family Membership purchased via a download code.

To purchase a Family Membership, you must be at least 18 years of age.
