Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Monster Hunter Stories is an RPG series set in the Monster Hunter world, where you can become a Rider, raising and bonding with your favorite monsters.

From a crystallized egg, twin Rathalos – monsters thought long extinct – emerge marked with the Skyscale; an omen connected to a conflict two centuries past.

As two kingdoms stand on the brink of war, set out on a journey for the truth borne by the winds of fate.

The Story

Azuria and Vermeil stand on the brink of destruction. Just as all hope appears lost, an egg is discovered – an egg containing a Rathalos, a species long believed to be extinct. Yet this fragile glimmer of hope is swiftly snuffed out, replaced by the deepening shadows of despair.

From the egg emerges not one Rathalos, but twins, each bearing the Skyscale marking – a symbol tied to the catastrophic civil war that ravaged the land two centuries ago. Meanwhile, the natural world falters, with countless monster species nearing extinction. In the midst of these dark times, the flames of war ignite once more.

Two countries, and two Rathalos.

A Rider and their trusted Rathalos, buffeted by the winds of fate, set out on a journey for the truth.
